I was not happy with the service or the way the shop handled my situation. I showed up with the hopes of getting a resolution of what is wrong with my 2008 Nissan.
My truck broke down while driving up I-45 about 7 miles south of the nearest town, Corsicana, TX, (about 90 miles away from my hometown of Plano).. so I needed to find a reliable repair shop to get my truck fixed. I called around and got some quotes and then I heard about Richie's Auto Repair (which has been in business for 23 years at the same location, which seemed like a sign of a good shop)! And Richie's was also recommended as a trustworthy place that does good work by mechanic in a neighboring town! So I decided to have my truck towed there. I met Richie (who was a real nice guy) and he sure made me feel at ease and agreed to fix my truck. When it was all said and done, the work was finished quickly and at a very fair and reasonable price... (which was, as it turned out after checking around..) I paid $175 LESS!!! at Richie's than the quote I was given at a different shop in another town for the same job!! So Richie helped get me back on the road and didn't rip me off and take me for a ride (so to speak)! I AM VERY PLEASED with him and his work. I would go there again in a heartbeat! Thank you Richie!
Went to get my ball joints done on one side. They got me in the next morning and the car was done by lunch time. The price they quoted me was cheaper than the other 3 shops i checked and my final price was even a few dollars cheaper then the original quote.
What I found on my way to the drive Waxahachie Nissan Dealer, my mom she paid them $20.00 for 4 minutes of thier time to come help secure the car. I was upset. Not an excuse, but I am a single woman who don't know much about cars, trailers, and secure tie downs and figuring someone would help us. No. I won't go back to a place who is not friendly enough to help. Lost my business.
Sunday afternoon I called a friend to help load my car onto the trailer and secure it tightly for the transport. Monday morning Iarrived with my mom, to drop my car off [8am] in turn was told a few hours later [10am].. "Not really sure what is wrong with your car possible could be the electrical I think it is best you take it to the Nissan Dealer to fix". I was okay with the answer as they could not give me what's wrong. But since they could not diagnosis my car they still charged me $30.00 for the work they could not find. Fine okay, no problem. As I showed up to get my car back on the trailer so I can head to Waxahachie Nissan Dealer to find an answer, the car was loaded onto my trailer but the guys all took off back to the shop. They didn't help me and my mother [70+ years] get the car strapped and secured. After a few minutes trying to learn to secure my car my mom comes back with the head guy, who did help us. I was relieved he took time to come help us secure the car to the trailer [I was wrong about him helping us].
